There are some amazing places to enjoy brunch in Limassol if you know where to go.  That’s where I come in! Limassol is huge, and there are so many bars and restaurants. However, a good percentage of these don’t open early for breakfast or brunch. Fear not though, there are places that do and do it well.

I love brunch and so we sampled a good few restaurants offering brunch in Limassol!  Here I share some of my favourite Limassol brunch spots with you.

Hopefully, it will avoid any disappointment and avoid wandering aimlessly trying to find somewhere that looks good (…because trust me, I have already done this!).

Read on for some of my recommendations for brunch in Limassol.

Best Brunch in Limassol

The concept of brunch hasn’t swept through Cyprus like it has at home but it is definitely on the rise!

More and more bars and restaurants are opening earlier to cater for those of us who can’t make up their mind whether they want breakfast or lunch! I for one am all for this progress.

At the forefront of this revolution is Limassol offering up some of the best brunch spots in Cyprus.

There is a good range of options for brunch in Limassol. You can choose from luxury and refined to more artisan options, all of which are done very well.

In this blog, I have rounded up my 5 favourite spots for brunch in Limassol for you to try. They all offer something slightly different whilst all serving up delicious food and, as always in Cyprus, great coffee. Enjoy!

Best Beach Brunch in Limassol

For the best beachside brunch in Limassol, there is only one place to head.

Columbia Restaurant Limassol is one of the best-looking venues for brunch in Limassol.

Columbia Restaurant Limassol

The Beach Bar is, as the name suggests, located right on the beach. As you enter, you are met by the oasis that Columbia has created for its bar and restaurant. It has its own pool with palm trees and grass all around. In the background is the beach and the sea beyond.

The setting is very luxurious without being too pretentious. It isn’t hard to see why this place is one of the most instagrammable bars in Limassol.

A beautiful setting for brunch

As well as creating a beautiful setting, the guys behind Columbia Beach Bar have also created a great menu! There is a good range of different and interesting options on the menu which makes this one of our favourite spots for a delicious brunch in Limassol.

Columbia Beach Bar Menu

The menu includes a great range of brunch options. From eggs benedict to shakshuka and from a traditional middle eastern breakfast to burrata and avocado toast.

On top of that, there is a vegan brunch menu as well as pancakes, waffles and overnight oats. There is something on the menu for everyone.

The full range of brunch (and other) options can be found on their website.

Given the surroundings, the prices are slightly more than other brunch options in Limassol. However, the setting definitely makes a trip worthwhile.

Columbia Beach Bar Opening Times & Bookings

Columbia serves brunch from 9 am until 3 pm. Perfect for people like me who don’t always get up so early and embrace that siga-siga (slowly, slowly) lifestyle. Depending on when you go for brunch, you can pair your food with a coffee, a fresh juice or something from their brunch cocktail menu!

We didn’t book on the various occasions that we visited but for a larger group, I would definitely suggest booking.

Once you have finished brunch, by all means, rent a lounger and spend the day in paradise on the beach with food and drink served by Columbia all day.

If that isn’t enough, then come the evening this place becomes one of the coolest bars in Limassol. Expect DJs playing, cocktails flowing and the party spreading around the pool.

Columbia Beach Bar is not only one of the best places for brunch in Limassol but worth a visit any time of the day.

Best Brunch with a View

If you are looking to couple your brunch in Limassol with some of the best views in town then Pier One is a great option.

Pier One, Limassol Harbour

Pier One is located in Old Port and occupies an elevated position above the street. From there, its glass walls offer uninterrupted views of the sea and the coastline of Limassol.

The elegant layout and the incredible views are matched by the award-winning menu prepared by Pier One. This top spot for brunch in Limassol has been featured in the Cyprus Eating Awards for 4 consecutive years and it isn’t hard to see why!

Pier One Menu

The brunch menu offers a great range of traditional and fusion brunch options. They have plenty of sweet and savoury options. If you have a sweet tooth, take a look at their pancakes or the stuffed praline brioche.

For more savoury choices, they have a variety of egg dishes and their own take on the classic ‘full English’ breakfast.

Equally, I would definitely recommend their feta, asparagus and spinach scrambled eggs. This is served on tsoureki bread – a sweet brioche kind of bread. You wouldn’t normally put them together, but you’ll have to take my word that it works. My favourite brunch ever!

You can view the full brunch menu on their website

If you are a larger group, or you want to make sure of space by the windows then I would suggest booking. When we went, we managed to get a table for two without reservation.

Brunch can be coupled with coffee, juice or a breakfast cocktail depending on your mood! The food and the views will have you feeling incredibly relaxed and is the perfect start to the day.

Walk off your brunch with a stroll around the Old Harbour and the new Marina right next door!

Coolest Brunch in Town

One of the coolest places to have brunch in Limassol is at Cookhouse Limassol. In the centre of Limassol, Cookhouse offers a completely different vibe from the other spots on this list.

Cookhouse Limassol

Visually it is much edgier than other places in Limassol. It has cool industrial-style interiors and you could easily be in a different trendy café in central Europe. The menu is excellent too.

There are lots of choices and it’s a “proper” brunch place, with breakfast and brunch being their speciality. As a result, it is always busy here. If you’re hoping to go at the weekend, a reservation is recommended to avoid disappointment.

I would definitely recommend the chorizo eggs which were really delicious (and quite spicy – you’ve been warned!). The eggs are served on pumpkin bread which was super tasty. Their menu is quite extensive, and you’ve got plenty of choices – check out their food on their Facebook page.

Best Upmarket Brunch in Limassol

Epsilon is located in the new marina with a spectacular glass-fronted view over the marina and the sea beyond. It is one of the fancier options for brunch in Limassol but one that shouldn’t be missed, even if just for the view and ambience.

Epsilon, Limassol

The food is absolutely as good as the aesthetics too. Their ‘eggs selection’ part of the menu is particularly good with some delicious poached eggs.

For something a little different but equally delicious, give the ‘English Muffin Club’ a go. This is an Asian take on an English breakfast muffin – so good!

They also have vegan options, as well as larger brunch options for those who have come with a big appetite. You can view the menu here.

Excellent muffins at Epsilon

Be aware that brunch is only available at the weekend at Epsilon (not mid-week). You should book a table because it is one of the more popular places in Limassol marina.

Best Takeaway Brunch in Limassol

A small coffee shop based in the centre of the city and close to Cookhouse, Nomad offers a fantastic brunch in Limassol for takeaway, or you can sit in the limited seating outside the café.

The seating doesn’t exactly have the nicest view, given it is located on the main road, but the delicious coffee and wide range of takeaway brunch options make it well worth a trip.

Nomad Limassol

Besides its creamy coffee, Nomad has a great selection of open sandwiches. I would totally recommend the salmon and avocado!

If you’re looking for something a little healthier, the smoothies are to die for. Also, the overnight oats and chia pots are also really tasty. Check out the menu here.

As a little aside, I have to mention the bread in Nomad. It’s all sourdough bread and it’s all absolutely delicious and freshly baked. Grab brunch to go and a loaf for the week…if it lasts that long!

Best Pub Brunch in Limassol

The perfect antidote for the morning after the night before. Their menu doesn’t disappoint on this front.  It contains everything you need to get your day back on track!

Barley’s Bar and Grill

Barley’s has to feature in our list of best places for brunch in Limassol for its great value breakfasts. A full English complete with hash browns – all for around a fiver, you just can’t go wrong! It is exactly what you need to soak up those cocktails and beers you had last night!

Sometimes nothing else will do!

Barley’s is located on the beach road, and you can see the sea. It’s got a nice atmosphere, with a classic British pub vibe – a taste of home if you’re a fellow Brit!

Happy Brunching!

Whilst brunch in Limassol isn’t available everywhere and is still an up-and-coming concept on the island, there are a good few places that are doing it really well and you’re in for a real treat.

For takeaway or a quick brunch on the go, Nomad is the place to go. Pier One and Epsilon are great choices for amazing views with your brunch. For a cool and sort of hipster vibe, Cookhouse is the one.

Go to Colombia for a pre-beach healthy breakfast with a trendy vibe. At the other end of the spectrum is Barleys, which offers neither of those things, but will sort out your hangover and provide some super friendly service in a relaxed and completely unpretentious setting.
