A day at Limassol water park is one of the best things to do in Limassol. It certainly was for us because we love a water park! It’s just a short trip outside of the main centre and is definitely worth a visit when you visit Limassol.
You may hear it called many different things. Its full name is Fasouri Watermania Waterpark Limassol. It also goes by Fasouri Waterpark Limassol, Watermania Limassol and Aqua Park Limassol. If you hear any of these don’t worry, there is only one water park in Limassol!
Read on for everything you need to know to plan an epic trip to Limassol Water Park.
Welcome to Limassol Water Park
Limassol Water Park was built in 1999 and has been a hugely popular day out in Limassol ever since.
During our time in Limassol, we visited each of the three main water parks in Cyprus. Paphos aqua park and Ayia Napa’s Waterworld were both great but the Limassol water park was our favourite!
It is also the biggest of the Cyprus waterparks. At over 25 acres in total, it is the largest park by size. Equally, with 30 different rides, 2 restaurants and 3 snack bars it is also the largest in terms of attractions.
At the same time, it didn’t feel as busy as Paphos and Ayia Napa. That is likely due to the lower number of tourists in Limassol. We went towards the end of the season. For the first two hours of the day, we almost had the place to ourselves!
So now we have whetted your appetite, let’s take a look in more detail!
Rides at Limassol Water Park
With over 30 different Fasouri waterpark rides, there are plenty of options for all ages!
Limassol Water Park – Adrenaline Rides
If you like adrenaline rides, then you are in luck. Limassol water park has its epic Kamikaze slide which has a 50m drop! Next to the Kamikaze slide are two body slides. No rubber rings here but 120 metres of slide!
In the other corner of Limassol water park, you find four more slides for single or double rings. Two of these are the covered slides. These are called the black hole and the black hole extreme slides. You can ride either of these cool slides in either a single or double ring.
If you aren’t a fan of the dark, then there are two open slides here too. Again you can take a single or double ring. These four slides are some of the best in Limassol water park.
For larger groups, there is even a triple ring option! The triple tube slide has single, double or triple rings. At 150m and 6 storeys high, it’s a fun ride!
For the competitive riders, there is a 6-lane mat racer slide. You line up at the top, watch the lights and when it goes green you go. You ride down head first on the mat and hope you hit the bottom first! I am very competitive so we had many goes on this…
As well as all of the above, there is the pro bowl. Head down the slide and you are fired into a basin which you circumnavigate a few times until you drop out of the bottom!
Finally, for the adrenaline rides, there are the black cannons! Short but very steep drops that fire you into the air and into the pool! Great fun – especially watching the positions others get into when they land! Just try not to land on your back!
Limassol Water Park – Relaxing Rides
If you prefer a more sedate experience, then Limassol water park has a great lazy river. The staple of every water park surely. Ideal for families or if you need a break after the bigger rides! The rafts can carry up to 10 people and travel over 400 metres around Limassol water park.
There is also a wave pool which starts up every time the klaxon sounds. Check the boards when you arrive to see when it will run; it is usually every 30 minutes or every hour.
Finally, if all of that is too much, there are also a few swimming pools. These are surrounded by loungers. So cool off in the pool and dry off in the lounger whilst you get some well-earned rest and relaxation!
Limassol Water Park – Kids’ Rides
For those of you with children, there are some great rides for kids too. If you have very little ones there are small kids’ pools as well as baby bungee swings and little paddle boats.
For slightly older kids there is an adventure centre with pulleys, stairs, slides and hoses to explore! There are also some water bubbles. These large domes can be climbed with ropes before you slide back down.
Take a look at the Fasouri waterpark map for a full overview of all the slides on offer. Alternatively, head to the attractions section of the Limassol water park website to read more about all of the rides.

Ticket Prices
The Limassol water park prices start at €30 for an adult. For children aged 3 to 11 years old, tickets are €17. These are not advertised on the website, unfortunately!
You can buy discounted entrance tickets if you book in advance here.
There are also discounted Fasouri waterpark prices for Cypriots. So if you are from Cyprus, make sure to ask about discounted prices when you arrive. These are not advertised but we are assured they are available!
Equally, again there are no advertised Fasouri waterpark family package offers. However, depending on the time of the season, the park does run offers. I suggest calling ahead or at least asking when you arrive. You may be lucky and be able to take advantage of one of their promotions!
If you are unsure, I would suggest calling ahead. All of the staff speak English so you will be able to find out over the phone.
Once you are in Limassol water park, you can hire a locker if you wish to store your valuables. Lockers cost €7. This comprises a €4.50 rental charge and a €2.50 deposit for the key. You get the €2.50 back when you return the key at the end of the day.
You can also rent towels for €3.50 with an €11.50 deposit as well as lifejackets for added safety. These are free of charge with a €10 deposit.
Eating and Drinking
There are some good food options at Limassol water park. Given that it is a tourist attraction, the Fasouri waterpark food prices are not outrageous either!
The main restaurant is Pirates’ Cove. This outdoor, self-service restaurant is perfect for a day at the water park. It has everything you would expect from burgers and hotdogs to salads and sandwiches. They also serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and desserts.
For something more traditional, there is the Grill House. This eatery serves local and Greek food including souvlaki and gyros. Delicious food and not too heavy so you can get back on the rides quickly!
There is also Pizza Mania. Surprisingly, this one specialises in pizzas! We didn’t eat here but the pizzas look a good size and homemade.
As well as these three main restaurants, there are several snack bars. You can get donuts from Mini Donuts Kiosk (they are so delicious!). Sweets and ice cream are served in Sweet Land.
For drinks, Aloha Bar serves cold beers and cocktails poolside for those who want a break from the rides! Non-alcoholic drinks are of course also available.
Getting to Limassol Water Park
There are various options for getting to the water park depending on where you are coming from.
From Limassol
Previously, there was a shuttle bus from the tourist area in Limassol. Unfortunately, this shuttle was not running in 2021 and is not running in 2022.
Realistically, the best option to get to Limassol Water Park from Limassol is by taxi or by car. I would expect a taxi to cost between €20 and €30 from Limassol.
For return journeys, you can book a taxi at the water park. Just ask at the reception on your way out and they will book a taxi for you.
There is a public bus which runs from the Limassol bus station to near the Limassol water park. This is the 19 and 19A bus.
If you want more information about the public bus, have a look at Cyprus by Bus website for times and routes.
From Paphos
There is a shuttle bus service from Paphos to the Limassol water park. The shuttle bus runs from the tourist area and is booked via the hotel operators.
So if you are staying in one of the many hotels in Paphos, ask your tour operator to arrange tickets.
Further details are available on the Limassol water park website.
